LIMITED WARRANTY

Your recycled parts from Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC are covered by this limited warranty unless specifically excluded in writing at the time of the sale. General terms of the warranty are listed below followed by specific terms which apply to engines, transmissions, and other parts.

GENERAL TERMS

If any defect is discovered during the warranty period, Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC must be informed immediately. All claims must be accompanied by the original sales receipt. Engine and transmission claims must also be accompanied by this warranty. Defect must be verified by Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC and all work under this warranty must be performed by Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC at our shop, unless Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC chooses to have such work performed elsewhere. Transportation cost of any part to Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC is specifically excluded from this warranty. Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any part at its option. Such repair, replacement, or refund will satisfy all obligations under this warranty. Any improper use, abuse, neglect, careless handling, damage done by improper installation by others, repair performed by others, or removal of any part from the vehicle in which it was first installed after purchase from Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC shall void this warranty. Labor cost, including the cost of moving attached external parts from your engine to the Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC engine, seals, gaskets, fluids and similar supplies are covered by this warranty only if the labor was originally done by Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC or if a Limited Installation Warranty was purchased with the part.

ENGINES

Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC warrants to the original purchaser the internal parts of the engines to be free of defects for a period of 90 days from the date of sale. The parts covered by this warranty are the engine block, cylinder head with valves, cam shaft, connecting rods and bearings, pistons, piston rings, oil pump, crankshaft and bearings, rocker arms, valve lifters, and other internal parts. Excluded from this warranty are the carburetor, fuel pump, water pump, all electrical parts, hoses, lines, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, fuel injector pumps, all other fuel injection parts, and all other external parts. Calibration and adjustment of excluded parts is also excluded from this warranty.

TRANSMISSIONS

Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC warrants to the original purchaser its recycled transmissions to be free of defects for a period of 90 days from the date of sale. The parts covered by this warranty are the transmission case and all internal parts, including the torque converter. Excluded from this warranty are the transmission mounts, shifting linkage, flywheel and all other external parts. Calibrations and adjustments must be properly done and are excluded from this warranty.

OTHER PARTS

Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC warrants to the original purchaser that recycled parts sold by it will be free from defect for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. Properly installed and refinished sheet metal parts are guaranteed, for any amount up to their original price, against rust and corrosion for as long as the original purchaser from Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC owns the vehicle. The liability and obligation of Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC under this warranty shall not include any inconvenience, transportation, towing (including towing to our shop), labor expense, down time, or direct or indirect or consequent damage, or delay resulting from any defect. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty expressed or implied, including any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No action by Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC under this warranty shall extend the original warranty shall extend the original warranty period or alter its obligation. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

EXTENDED WARRANTIES

Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC may offer extensions of the time period of this warranty. Such notice of extension will be printed on the invoice for the part covered. No other warranty terms will be changed by such notice.

LIMITED INSTALLATION WARRANTY

There is a separate limited installation warranty that may be purchased by the purchaser of selected parts from Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC.

General Terms

At the time of the return of the part covered by this warranty to Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC, Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC will pay the original purchaser of the part listed on the front of the invoice up to the amount noted on the invoice if Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC determines that the part failed within the period of the original Limited Parts Warranty (or the period of an extended warranty if one is purchased on the same invoice) all conditions of the original Limited Parts Warranty were met, and that the part must be replaced. Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC retains all rights under the Limited Parts Warranty including the right to repair any part covered by the warranty rather than determine that the part must be replaced. The Limited Parts Warranty is not included with any part from Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC but must be purchased separately. The charge for the Limited Parts Warranty must be billed on the same invoice as the part for which it was purchased. The Limited Parts Warranty covers only the specific part described by the part type and Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC stock number on the invoice. The liability and obligation of Big Boys Auto Recycling, LLC under this warranty shall not exceed the amount shown on the invoice and shall not include any inconvenience, transportation, towing (including towing to our shop), labor expense, down time, or direct or indirect or consequent damage, or delay resulting from any defect.
